Alias was an American spy show that aired on ABC in the US from 2001-2006. It starred Jennifer Garner as Syndey Bristow, a young woman recruited into a mysterious organization known as SD-6. During the course of the series, she uncovers the truth about the firm she works for with the help of her father Jack Bristow (Victor Garber).

Judging from this publicity photo, the pistol is most likely a Springfield Armory "Loaded" M1911A1 with 5" barrel.
