A Man from the Boulevard des Capucines (Chelovek s bulvara Kaputsinov) (1987)

A Man from the Boulevard des Capucines (Chelovek s bulvara Kaputsinov) is a 1987 Western comedy by Alla Surikova. The main character of the movie, Jonny First (Andrey Mironov) arrives to the Wild West to present the art of the Cinematograph and completely changes the life of the typical Frontier town and its residents.

The firearms in the movie are mostly anachronistic but at least they tried to look similar to the true Western revolvers and rifles.

The following weapons are seen in the movie A Man from the Boulevard des Capucines (Chelovek s bulvara Kaputsinov):

Smith & Wesson No.3 Russian Model

Smith & Wesson No.3 Russian Model revolvers are used by several characters. This is Russian-produced Pattern II model that differs a little from the original S&W.

Webley Mk IV

Many characters in the movie use Webley Mk IV revolvers, including the saloon owner Harry McQ (Oleg Tabakov) and several of the cowboys.

Nagant M1895 short-barreled revolver

The ladies of the town are armed with short-barreled Nagant M1895 revolvers. This is a custom version with a very short barrel (shorter than the "standard" short Nagant). Supposedly it is the same weapon that was used in Teheran 43.

Unidentified revolver 1

Both Black Jack (Mikhail Boyarskiy) and Billy King (Nikolai Karachentsov) use revolver that looks similar to Smith & Wesson models of 1880s but is not top break and has the ramrod in side position, not under barrel.

Winchester Model 1895

Most rifles in the movie are Russian contract Model 1895.

Unidentified rifle

One of the Comanches is armed with the rifle or shotgun, supposedly bolt-action hunting weapon.

The Comanche got in face a fountain of whiskey and is now trying to fire in totally drunk condition.

Customised Goryunov SGM Machine Gun

During the Comanche attack on the town Harry McQ (Oleg Tabakov) used a belt-fed machine gun to defend his saloon. This "Frankengun" is based on Goryunov SGM equipped with fake barrel cover and a bipod instead of common mount.

Dynamite

The town residents used dynamite sticks as grenades during the Comanche attack.
