Jack Bauer's (Kiefer Sutherland) weapon of choice throughout Season 1 is the Sig Sauer P228 with a nickel-plated slide. An interesting and well-known goof is that in several scenes, the gun changes from the P228 to a P229.

Beretta M92FS

Richard Walsh (Michael O'Neill) uses a (sound suppressed) Beretta M92FS when he is taking fire from well trained assassins.

Uzi 9mm

Rick (Daniel Bess) grabs a Uzi 9mm during the rescue of Jack's family.

Heckler & Koch USP

Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) takes two Heckler & Koch USPs into the climactic gunfight with the Drazens in Episode 24 and fires them akimbo for the majority of the fight, killing a Drazen henchman and Andre Drazen (Željko Ivanek) in this manner. After being wounded by Viktor Drazen (Dennis Hopper), Bauer then kills him with his one remaining USP, emptying the magazine into his body.

Norinco NDM-86 (chambered in .308)

Ira Gaines hunts Jack Bauer through the woods at the compound with a Norinco NDM-86 chambered for .308. The NDM-86 is a clone of the Soviet Dragunov SVD manufactured in China. The squared off shape of the box magazine shows the chambering as being in .308 rather than the curved magazine for the rifle's original 7.62x54R cartridge.

Walther PPK

In the Season 2 finale, one of Peter Kingsley's (Tobin Bell) henchmen has a Walther PPK in an ankle holster. During a fight with Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), he tries to use it with no success, discharging the weapon several times. A few minutes later, Jack tries to use it against Kingsley himself, but to no avail - the gun is empty.

Used by David Conlon when he attempts to kill Jack Bauer and Paul Raines. He succeeds in shooting Paul Raines in Episode 13 (7 p.m.-8p.m.). Also used by Mandy in the final few episodes, most notably to kill Agent Castle.

Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) continues to use a Heckler & Koch USP Compact, chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum, throughout the whole of Season 5, in both suppressed and unsuppressed form. It is most easily seen in the Season 5 opener, in Episode 2 when he offers the gun to Wayne Palmer (D.B. Woodside) - inviting Palmer to kill him if he doesn't believe that he had nothing to do with David Palmer's (Dennis Haysbert) death, Episode 15 during the raid on the natural gas processing plant, and Episode 23, when Bauer kills Christopher Henderson (Peter Weller) in revenge for Palmer's death, as well as several others.

The Glock 19 is used by Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) under his sofa and Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) hands this off to Chloe O'Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub) when they are being targeted by well trained assassins during 7:00 A.M. - 8:00 A.M.

Glock 17

The Glock 17 is Curtis Manning's Roger R. Cross main weapon of choice in suppressed & unsuppressed form, also used by terrorists, Secret Service Director, Agents, local police, Agent Burke Marty Papazian, this is also used by Christopher Henderson Peter Weller, and the US Marshall's Matthew Jones weapon during Jack interrogating Collette Stenger Stana Katic during 9:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M.

Beretta M92FS

Beretta M92FS used by local police, One of Erwich's men in supressed form, used by Agent Justin Adam Tracy Howe in sound suppressed form, and also used by the Chief Ranking Officer Don Fischer to inspect the exterior of the submarine 4:00 A.M. - 5:00 A.M.

Heckler & Koch MP5K

MP5K in seen in the weapons crate during 8:00 A.M. - 9:00 A.M., it is also during the hostage taking at Ontario airport during 8:00 A.M. - 9:00 A.M., is used by Secret Service during the ambush, used by Petty Officer Tim Rooney Jeremy Ray Valdez to create a distraction for Jack Bauer Kiefer Sutherland after killing a terrorist and taking his weapon 5:00 A.M. - 6:00 A.M.

The Hecler & Koch MP5A2 is used with red dot scopes used by customs swat team, one of the CTU Guards during the Lockdown at CTU, Christopher Henderson's Peter Weller men during the shootout at the bank, and used by Henderson's Peter Weller men during the assualt at the airport hangar during 2:00 A.M. - 3:00 A.M.

Glock 26

An assassin uses a (Sound Suppressed) Glock 26 to murder Jack Bauer inside CTU.

Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) poses himself as Christopher Hendersons (Peter Weller) sniper in order to take out the men holding Evelyn Martin's daughter (Skylar Roberge) as hostage for exchange of the vidal tape recorder.
