The following weapons were used in the film This Means War:
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P226
Both Franklin Delano Roosevelt "FDR" Foster (Chris Pine) and Tuck Hansen (Tom Hardy) carry SIG-Sauer P226 pistols. Karl Heinrich (Til Schweiger) uses one for much of the film as well.
Karl Heinrich draws his P226.

Karl Heinrich aims his P226.
Tuck and FDR aim their P226s.
Alternate scene
Tuck after firing the P226. Since he only dropped one round into the chamber, the slide should be locked back.
The P226 next to FDR. Note the missing magazine.
Karl Heinrich comes in firing. Til Schweiger must be very well trained, as he manages to fire multiple rounds without even blinking, much less flinching.
FDR fires upon oncoming henchmen.
Glock 17
Some of Karl Heinrich's henchmen are armed with Glock 17s in both the final cut and alternate scenes.

Alternate scene
A henchman changes Tuck and FDR with his Skorpion in an alternate scene.
The henchman's Skorpion slides across the pavement towards FDR.
FDR swipes the Skorpion from the pavement. Since he did so from a moving Jeep, this appears to be a rubber or foam copy. Note how deep his thumb is penetrating the frame.
Heckler & Koch MP5A5
In a deleted scene, Tuck fires a Heckler & Koch MP5A5 with a KAC railed forend, RIS foregrip, UMP-style buttstock and ELCAN optic. (Most of the indoor scenes were filmed in the Vancouver area.)

Paintball guns

Another paintballer uses a paintball gun based on an AR-15.
P226 magazine
In an alternate scene, Tuck is forced to shoot FDR, but shoot him where he knows he keeps his spare magazines. While it's possible a pistol mag may have stopped a pistol round, it's unlikely the magazine would still be able to function afterwards.
FDR shows the magazine that stopped the bullet.
