Beginning with the third season, LAPD Det. Sgt. Rick Hunter (Fred Dryer) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snubnose.

Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub Nose - .357 Magnum

In the third season, LAPD Det. Sgt. Dee Dee McCall (Stepfanie Kramer) carries a stainless Walther PPK/S with white grips.

Smith & Wesson Model 10 Snubnose

In "Double Exposure" (3.15), Matthew Winfield (George Clooney) hands a Smith & Wesson Model 10 Snubnose to Shelly Kurtz (Fran Fitzgerald).

Smith & Wesson Model 10 snub nose revolver - .38 Special

Shelly looks at the Model 10 Snub given to her in "Double Exposure" (3.15).

Shelly holds the Model 10 Snub on "Sporty" James in "Double Exposure" (3.15).

Smith & Wesson Model 10 Heavy Barrel

In "Double Exposure" (3.15), Matthew Winfield's (George Clooney) primary sidearm is a Smith & Wesson Model 10 Heavy Barrel.

Smith & Wesson Model 10 HB (heavy barrel) revolver (Post 1950s Model) - .38 Special. Later incarnations of the Model 10 had a non-tapered heavy barrel, which leads it to be commonly mistaken for a .357 revolver.
