René Auberjonois
René Auberjonois (1940-2019) was an American actor who was well known to television viewers for his roles as Odo in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Clayton Endicott III in Benson as well as Paul Lewiston on Boston Legal. In addition, he appeared in the role of the original Father Mulcahy in the film version of M*A*S*H (1970) as well as in such films as The Patriot and Police Academy 5: Assignment Miami Beach. He passed away on December 8, 2019 at the age of 79 due to complications from metastatic lung cancer. He was survived by his wife, Judith, and his two children, Remy and Tessa.
N.B. Auberjonois's great-great grandfather was Joachim Murat, Marshal of France under Napoleon Bonaparte and one-time King of Naples. His mother, Laure Murat, was a titled Princess.
