|
The Adventures of Prince Florisel (original title Priklyucheniya printsa Florizelya) is a 1981 Soviet made for TV adventure movie directed by Yevgeni Tatarsky and based on stories "The Suicide Club" and "The Rajah's Diamond" by Robert Louis Stevenson. In Victorian London Prince Florizel of Backardia (Oleg Dal) and his faithful companion Colonel Geraldine (Igor Dmitriev) fight against villainous Chairman of the Suicide Club (Donatas Banionis), a criminal mastermind, also known as Nick Nichols and "The Checkered".
In 1999 the movie was re-released under the title Klub samoubiyts, ili Priklyucheniya titulovannoy osoby (The Suicide Club, or The Adventures of the Noble).
The following weapons were used in the film The Adventures of Prince Florisel (Priklyucheniya printsa Florizelya):
Reichsrevolver M1879
Reichsrevolver M1879 revolvers are used by various characters.
Reichsrevolver M1883
The Chairman (Donatas Banionis) carries a Reichsrevolver M1883 revolver in the climactic scene. M1883s are also seen in hands of minor characters.
Galand Revolver
Galand Revolvers are also seen in hands of various characters.
Smith & Wesson Pocket Revolver
A top-break pocket revolver is seen in hands of Prince Florizel (Oleg Dal) in the climactic scene. It is possibly a Smith & Wesson Model 2, maybe a Belgian or Spanish version that were more often seen in Europe than original S&W revolvers.
Percussion Cap Pistol
In one scene Mark (Vitaliy Ilin), Prince Florizel's manservant, is seen with a Percussion Cap Pistol.
Webley & Scott No. 1 Mk. III* Signal Pistol
In the scene when a thief sneaks in Gen. Vendeler's house at night, Lady Vendeler (Elena Solovey) appears with a large handgun. It is seen only in darkness but small parts that are visible allow to guess this gun to be a Webley & Scott No. 1 Mk. III* Signal Pistol.
