The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. is a 1993 Western fantasy series that starred Bruce Campbell as a Harvard-trained lawyer who makes a living as a bounty hunter. The series mixed the typical Western with some science-fiction fantasy elements. There were high expectations for this series when it premiered on the FOX network, but it only lasted for one season, but the show that followed it (The X-Files) turned out to be the tremendous hit.
