Midnight Run (1988)

Colt Detective Special

At the beginning of the film Jack Walsh (Robert De Niro) uses a Colt Detective Special as his main weapon until he has to check the revolver before boarding a commercial flight and never retrieving it.

Walsh sneaks through the criminal's hideout.
Walsh holds his Detective Special on Mardukas, impersonating FBI agent Alonso Mosley.

M1911A1

The criminal Jack runs down at the start of the film is armed with a nickel-plated M1911A1.

Used by the snipers hired by the Chicago mob to try and kill Jack Walsh and Jonathan Mardukas (Charles Grodin).
