My Name is Nobody is a 1973 Spaghetti Western comedy directed by Tonino Valerii. However, several of the more memorable scenes were actually directed by Sergio Leone, who served as an uncredited executive producer as well as sharing screenwriting credit for the film along with Fulvio Morsella and Ernesto Gastaldi. By the early seventies, the Spaghetti Western genre was fading and was becoming the subject of parodies. Leone and his people decided that if the genre was now fodder for comedies they would make the ultimate spaghetti western comedy (noted Leone film composer Ennio Morricone even came on to score the film). In the decades since the film's release, My Name Is Nobody has achieved cult film status. It is a fun and surprisingly resonant film that Steven Spielberg later called his favorite Leone production. Terence Hill has stated in interviews that My Name Is Nobody is his favorite film.
The following weapons were used in the film My Name Is Nobody:
Revolvers
The Colt 1851 Navy is used by both Jack Beauregard (Henry Fonda) and Nobody (Terence Hill).
