The OTs-33 "Pernach" ("multi-vaned mace" in Russian) is a machine pistol developed in Russia by KPB Instrument Design Bureau. It is based on the earlier OTs-23 Drotik and was designed to replace the obsolete Stechkin APS in various Russian police and paramilitary units. The Pernach's characteristically "square" shape allows it to be manufactured quickly and cheaply.
