The Hunter is a 2011 Australian drama directed by Daniel Nettheim starring Willem Dafoe, Frances O'Connor and Sam Neill, based on Julia Leigh's 1999 novel of the same name. Dafoe plays professional hunter Martin David who is hired by a biotech company to retrieve samples from a Tasmanian Tiger (Thylacine), long believed to be extinct.
The following weapons can be seen in the film The Hunter:
Keppeler KS V Bullpup Sniper
Martin David (Willem Dafoe) uses a Keppeler KS V Bullpup Sniper. The Rival Hunter (Callan Mulvey) carries one as well.
Winchester Model 1894
Doug (Sullivan Stapleton) fires a warning shot with what appears to be a Winchester Model 1894. It's only seen once.
Parker-Hale Model 1200
Jack Mindy (Sam Neill) arms himself with a Parker-Hale Model 1200 when Martin comes looking for him.
