The pilot episode of CSI: NY actually is the Season 2 episode of CSI: Miami titled "Miami/NYC Non-Stop".
The following weapons were used in Season 1 of the television series CSI: NY:
Handguns
Glock 17
Two of the CSIs use 2nd Generation Glock 17 pistols throughout the series, notably Det. Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) and Det. Danny Messer (Carmine Giovinazzo) carry Glock 17s.
