Thelma & Louise is a 1991 drama directed by Ridley Scott that stars Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis as two friends who embark on an innocent road trip only to find themselves being chased throughout the Southwestern United States by law enforcement after they unexpectedly go on a crime spree. The Colt Detective Special Nickel 3rd Gen is the main firearm seen in the film. The revolver has a custom rubber grip and is used by both Thelma (Geena Davis) and Louise (Susan Sarandon) at various times. Louise first uses it first and Thelma later uses it to shoot a tanker truck.
