SCAP
 +
It is the late 90s and NATO is looking for a PDW and an Armor piercing Pistol round. FN works fast to develop a gun for the NATO trials. In response to the NATO trials FN makes the P90. HK hears about the NATO trials so they go and develop a scale down version of the G36 called the "MP7". Both of the Guns fail, but NATO prefers the 5.7 x 28mm round the P90 Fires and NATO wanted a more conventional PDW like its competitor. In 2005 FN took their SCAR system and scaled it down to fire 5.7 x 28mm, and they used their feedback from NATO on being more "Conventional" so they developed the SCAP (Special operations Close quarter Automatic Pistol). The Gun eventually won the NATO Trials and wasn't really a commercial success on the US civilian Market up until 2014 when the pistol version came out with a brace and a 7 inch barrel.

Bodycam is a Hyper realistic shooter that was made by a team of a 17 year old and a 20 year old. The game tries to emulate body cam footage using the Unreal Engine 5's new assets. The game has 3 game modes Death match, Team Death Match and Body Bomb which is kind of like Counter-Strike's defuse game mode. The game has Friendly Fire and blurred faces to get that realistic feel as well as a HUD that replicates an Axon Body camera's GUI. The game is currently in Early Access.

the Benelli M3 Super 90 appears in the game the "M3 Super 90 Assault Shotgun"

It behaves like a typical shotgun in other video games most comparably to the M3 in counter strike where it is really powerful at close range and longer distance shots become more inaccurate causing the pellets to spread and do less damage.

the SIG Sauer SSG 3000 has almost the same exact stats as the AWP in Counter-Strike with the main difference being scope having three different magnification modes 2x, 4x, and 6x. It's a left handed bolt action rifle but is shot right handed like in the original Counter-Strike. It is a one shot to the torso and head with Kevlar on and the 7.62 NATO round it fires does not stop until it comes into contact with a wall. In game the player carry's 20 rounds of 7.62 NATO in his reserve along with its 6 round magazine capacity. It is the most accurate gun in the game.

Firearm Roles and Stereotypes in Media
The firearms you've seen in movies or video games have their roles usually as "Bad Guy Guns" or "Good Guy Guns". This is not random, it actually goes back to the real world, such as gangsters, Terrorists or Communists, but guns can also gain notoriety from being used for a good cause by clearing out an embassy of a terrorist threat by storming the beaches of Normandy.

The AR-15
The Americans were issued the M14 which Americans complained about having a Small 20 magazine. America Responded to these complaints with the M16, The gun went from being not very popular with American soldiers at first but then the gun evolved with the multiple models from Colt and is now know as Americas Rifle. This gun  a in  games with team exclusive weapons are usually exclusive to the good guys like Counter terrorists.

FN SCAR
The SCAR Has been seen as a "Cooler Good Guy Gun" Probably due to it being in countless video games like Modern Warfare 2 and the color differentiating itself as a yellow gun compared to the countless black guns Like the AR-15. In 2013 it was seen in the movie G.I. Joe: Retaliation where General Joe Colton and his soldiers were all using the Scar. In 2013's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive the SSR is only available for the Counter Terrorists to purchase as a DMR. It is also seen on the logo of CS:GO in the hands of a Counter Terrorist Holding a SCAR-H.

The FGC-9 (**** Gun Control 9) is a Pistol Caliber Carbine that was designed around 2018 to 2020 by a guy named “JStark1809" who was trying to send the same message that Philly Ludy was trying to send back in 1998 with the message "you can't ban guns," and this is shown with some variations of the FGC-9 being compatible with parts that may be more legal than standard gun parts with some variations using the actual AR-15 fire control group, variations that are marketed towards places like where JStarks from are more likely to use Airsoft fire control group or a 3D printed fire control group. After the FGC-9 was invented, JStark1809 was eventually captured by the German government after making the gun and being pronounced dead two days later from a "Heart Attack". The gun is currently being used by civilians in Myanmar to fight off a regime. It hasn't appeared in any movies yet and only time will tell.

AK-50 was designed by Brandon Herrera in 2017, with the challenge being "Nobody can make an AK in.50 BMG". At the time, Brandon thought it was easier than it sounded, so he got the help of Chris Baker, who was his local gunsmith. Brandon and Chris worked on some parts by hand and had other parts worked on by other companies. When May 2017 started, the AK-50V1 was ready to fire. At the time, the AK-50V1 was half assembled. When he pulled the trigger, the hammer dropped, smacked the firing pin, and the firing pin successfully struck the primer. The primer successfully ignited the powder. The powder turned into gas, and the round traveled down the barrel but did not cycle due to the V1 not having a gas system yet, but that was fine because Brandon knew it would not cycle and wanted to see if he got the fire control group down before he put in a gas system. Brandon nailed the fire control group (quite literally), and now he needed to add a gas system. The gas system that came in the AK-50V2 is the long-stroke gas piston system, like in all AKs. Brandon also experimented a little more with the AK50V2, like changing out the milled receiver for a stamped receiver or having two recoil springs in the bolt carrier, then going back to one long recoil spring. In May 2021, he took it to the range to test out if it cycles.
+
The AK-50 is a unique firearm designed by Brandon Herrera back in 2017 when he decided to tackle the challenge of making an AK platform rifle chambered in .50 BMG. The AK-50 retains the basic long-stroke piston design of a standard AK but with a different style of rotating bolt that looks vaguely similar to the one of the Masterpiece Arm MPAR556 Bolt head, it can expect some AK furniture like the stock and pistol grip. The producers of John Wick contacted Brandon and asked him if they could borrow the AK-50 for their upcoming film John Wick 4. Brandon wanted to say yes to them, but he didn't have the AK-50 fully completed yet. The Rifle was announced finished on August 11th with black paintwork and an updated muzzle brake to reduce Barrel Flex.

The term "PDW Stock" might come off as very vague it will still be a separate category from the collapsible. What a PDW stock is a Telescoping stock with the purpose being that it would be more compact to fit in a tank or a truck with a VIP then a traditional AR Collapsible Stock. The earliest examples are the M231 Firing Port Weapon Wire Collapsible stock and later examples include the AAC Honey Badger and the Heckler & Koch HK416C.

SCAP

Open Fortress is a mod for Team Fortress 2 that mixes Team Fortress 2 with Quake 3 by adding in game modes like free for all, where you run around and pick up weapons to get the most kills to win, and the ability to zoom in by holding down mouse 2. There is also capture the flag, which returns to the Quake formula of CTF, where they lay out weapons across the map that you pick up manually, and that's what differentiates itself from Team Fortress 2's style of capture the flag, where you spawn and have an option of nine different classes with set weapons for set classes. The Team Fortress 2 elements can be seen in the art style of the game and the ability to customise your mercenary, from changing your melee weapon from a lead pipe to a crowbar to changing what hat you want to wear or which plate carrier you want to wear. You can also choose which announcer you want to use, like the original Half-Life VOX announcer. Open Fortress also encourages bunny-hopping.
The following weapons appear in the video game Brody7.62/Sandbox:

Overview

Open Fortress features weapons scattered across the map in spots where they will spawn. Weapons spawn at areas that are designated for that certain weapon to be used. For example, a rail gun would spawn far away from all of the other players on a platform with very little area to move around, and this is due to the design of the railgun with its slow rate of fire and high damage trade-off.

Handguns

Walther P38

The Walther P38 is the handgun that the player spawns with. it has a magazine capacity of 15 rounds with 90 rounds in reserve. At point blank range the P38 does 22 damage, at its base range it does 15 damage and at long range shots does 8 damage. Mini Crits do around 20-30 damage to the enemy players, While crits do around 40 damage. It takes 10 shots to a enemy player at their base health. It takes 4 Crits to kill an enemy player at their base health. if the player picks up another P38 they can akimbo it.

Smith & Wesson Model 29

The Smith & Wesson Model 29 carries 6 in the cylinder along with 24 rounds of .44 Remington Magnum in reserve. At point blank range the Model 29 does 67 damage, at its base range it does 45 damage and at long range shots does 23 damage. Mini Crits do around 61-91 damage to the enemy players, While crits do around 135 damage. It takes 4 shots to an enemy player at their base health. It takes 2 Crits to kill an enemy player at their base health.

Submachine Guns

M1928

The M1928 Thompson is a sub machine gun with a 50 round drum magazine that has the magazine capacity of 40 rounds along with 80 bullets in reserve (3 Drum Mags Total). At point blank range the M1928 does 18 damage, at its base range it does 12 damage and at long range shots does 6 damage. Mini Crits do around 16-24 damage to the enemy players, While crits do around 36 damage. This gun is ideally used to be a spray and pray weapon with its awful damage and decent magazine capacity similar to the PP-19 Bizon in CS:GO.

Assault rifles / Battle Rifles

"Assault Rifle"

The "Assault Rifle" is meant to represent a stereotypical M16 with its burst mode silhouette and probably the misconception that AR-15 stands for "Assault Rifle." In the game, the AR-15 is labelled as the "Assault ifle." The AR-15 is also kitted out with furniture from the AR-10, like the hand guard and the stock. At point blank, 1 shot does 27 damage, so if a player were to shoot a 3-round burst and have all their shots hit at point blank range, they would do 83 damage, and if a player were to shoot a 3-round burst at its base range and have all their shots hit, it would do 52 damage to an enemy player (18 damage per shot). A mini crit does around 24-46 damage per shot, and a crit does around 54 damage per shot, meaning that if a player were to shoot a perfect burst and have all the shots hit the enemy's base health, it would be like Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare M16 and kill them.

Shotguns

Ithaca 37

The Ithaca 37 is the standard Team Fortress 2 shotgun that has a magazine capacity of 5 + 1 and 32 in reserve. Each shot contains 10 pellets with each pellet doing 9 damage at point blank range which means it does 90 damage if all pallets land and would take 2 shots for a player to kill an enemy player with their base health close range, at medium rage the Ithaca 37 does 6 damage per pellet. If all the player's pellets hit at medium range (it won't) then it would take 3 shots to kill the enemy player.

Stoeger Coach Gun

The Stoeger Coach Gun is a side by side Double Barrel Shotgun the game labels a 1 shell with 20 pellets to represent 2 shells fired. This gun is best used at close range and should be only used at close range. If a player were to shoot to the body at close range and have all of the pellets land the enemy player would die because it has twice the amount of pellets in total would do 180 damage. This shotgun should never be used at medium range let alone long range. It's main purpose is literally to kill anything that's in front of it from a short distance.

Grenades & Explosives

China Lake Launcher

The China Lake Launcher is a projectile-based weapon that shoots pipes that don't explode on impact, similar to the stock grenade launcher in Team Fortress 2 but pump action. The China Lake Launcher has a tube magazine capacity of 4 with 16 in reserve. its 40x46 pipes it shoots does 90 damage.

FGC-9

FGC-9 MkI - 9x19mm Parabellum

The FGC-9 (Fuck Gun Control 9) is a Pistol Caliber Carbine that was designed around 2018 to 2020 by a guy named “JStark1809" who was trying to send the same message that Philly Ludy was trying to send back in 1998 with the message "you can't ban guns," and this is shown with some variations of the FGC-9 being compatible with parts that may be more legal than standard gun parts with some variations using the actual AR-15 fire control group, variations that are marketed towards places like where JStarks from are more likely to use Airsoft fire control group or a 3D printed fire control group.

AK-50

AK-50, 12.7 x 99mm. This is the latest iteration of the AK-50. This picture depicts the new muzzle brake as well as its new black color.
