The Irregulars is a 2021 British urban fantasy adventure TV series created by Tom Bidwell for Netflix. A group of teenagers, called Irregulars, live on the streets of Victorian London. John Watson involves them in the solving of supernatural crimes that arise across the city. The series was canceled after one season.
The following weapons were used in the miniseries The Irregulars:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Revolvers
Webley Bulldog
A Webley Bulldog is seen in hands of a clone of young Carla Machin (Harriet Turnbull) in "Chapter Two: The Ghosts of 221B" (S01E02).
Colt 1862 Police / Pocket Police
Alan Crawley (Pip Carter), the leader of the Golden Dawn occult cult, holds a short barreled Colt 1862 Police in "Chapter Three: Ipsissimus" (S01E03). It can be a Pocket Police model or custom Police with shortened barrel.
Webley .455 Mk II and Mk III
Webley .455 Mk II and Mk III are seen in several scenes. Inspector Lestrade (Aidan McArdle) carries a Webley in "Chapter Four: Both the Needle and the Knife" (S01E04). It's hard to say for sure if his revolver is a Mk II or Mk III. In "Chapter Eight: The Ecstasy of Life" (S01E08) John Watson (Royce Pierreson) carries a pair of Webley revolvers, one of which is definitly a Mk III and another one is supposed to be a Mk II.
Unidentified revolver
One of guards in the opium den in "Chapter Four: Both the Needle and the Knife" (S01E04) carries a compact revolver in Colt 1850s-1860s style, possibly a short-barreled 1851 Navy or 1860 Army. The frame of the revolver has brass details.
Shotguns
Sawed-Off Double Barrel Shotgun / Howdah Pistol
Another guard in the opium den in "Chapter Four: Both the Needle and the Knife" (S01E04) carries a Sawed-Off Double Barrel Shotgun with exposed hammers, or maybe a Howdah Pistol.
Rifles
Chilean Mauser 1895 Cavalry Carbine
John Watson (Royse Pierreson) and Sherlock Holmes (Henry Lloyd-Hughes) use Chilean Mauser 1895 Cavalry Carbines in the scenes in the prison mental hospital in "Chapter Seven: The Ecstasy of Death" (S01E07). Holmes also holds a Chilean 1895 carbine in "Chapter Eight: The Ecstasy of Life" (S01E08). It is identified by the very short barrel, turned down bolt handle, the shape of the top barrel band and the side mounted sling swivels.
Lee-Enfield Officer's Model No. 2 Carbine
Inspector Gregson (Tim Key) is armed with a Lee-Enfield Officer's Model No. 2 Carbine in the scenes in the prison mental hospital in "Chapter Seven: The Ecstasy of Death" (S01E07). The carbine is seen in the gun cabinet at the Baker Street 221B and then it is used by Spike (McKell David) in "Chapter Eight: The Ecstasy of Life" (S01E08). Model No. 2 Carbine was in fact a hunting style rifle for an officer and a gentleman, unlike Officer's Model No. 1 that had a military stock and a bayonet lug.
Martini-Henry Rifle
Royal Guards hold Martini-Henry rifles on a photo from the set. In the series itself, Royal Guards are seen in several scenes but they don't carry rifles, so possibly this scene was deleted in the release cut.
