The Remington SR8 was a prototype sniper rifle developed by Remington Arms for the Italian Army. The design of the rifle is based on the Remington M700, with the trigger assembly design taken largely from the M24. The project was eventually canceled, the prototype did not enter production, and only 10 examples were made.
