The Brink was an HBO television comedy that follows a geopolitical crisis involving the US and Pakistan as seen through the eyes of several key figures in the American government including members of the CIA and the US military. The series aired for 10 episodes in 2015.
The following weapons were used in the series The Brink:
Pistols
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is used by General Ahmed Ali (David Diian) at the end of "Who's Grover Cleveland?" and at the start of "Just a Little Crazy Talk".
Walther PPK
A Walther PPK with ivory pearl grips is taken from the ambassador's office by Alex Talbot (Jack Black) in the middle of "Just a Little Crazy Talk". Unfortunately, Umair Zaman (Iqbal Theba) uses the PPK tucked in Alex's waistband to kill himself in the middle of "There Will Be Consequences".
French Model An IX Cavalry Flintlock Pistol
A French Model An IX Cavalry Flintlock Pistol is used by Martin (Rob Brydon) in the middle of "Tweet, Tweet, Tweet".
Remington 1866
A Remington 1866 Derringer is used by Vanessa (Michelle Gomez) in the middle of "Sticky Wicket" after being confronted by an Interpol agent.
Assault Rifles
AK-47
AK-47s are seen in the hands of Pakistani military personnel throughout the season, which is incorrect since they are armed with license-made G3A3 as their standard rifle. If the soldiers are required to use AK-type rifles, the Pakistani Army issues the Chinese Norinco Type 56 instead of the genuine AK-47. A few are seen with Dotari tribesmen and "Taliban" militants in the middle of "Sticky Wicket".
AKS-47
A few AKS-47s are seen with some Pakistani military personnel and "Taliban" militants throughout the season. Like the AK-47, the AKS-47 is a non-standard weapon in the Pakistani military.
AKM
A few pro-Unity Party demonstrators are firing AKMs in protest marches throughout "Pilot". One Pakistani soldier is seen guarding the outskirts of a Pakistani Army prison at the start of "Half-Cocked". The AKM is a non-standard weapon in the Pakistani military like the AK-47. Some of the Dotari tribesmen in "Tweet, Tweet, Tweet" and in "Sicky Wicket" use AKMs. Pakistani soldiers and "Taliban" militants at the end of "Sticky Wicket" are armed with AKMs. Eritrean guerrilla fighters are armed with AKMs at the end of "There Will Be Consequences".
AKMS
An AKMS is used by Martin to shoot Vanessa in the leg after a confrontation in "Sticky Wicket". Eritrean guerrilla fighters are armed with AKMS at the end of "There Will Be Consequences".
M16A1 Carbine
Colt Model 653 "M16A1 Carbine" are seen with IDF soldiers throughout "Swim, Shmuley, Swim".
Colt M4A1
The Colt M4A1 is used by American military personnel, private security contractors and Pakistani Special Services Group commandos in the season.
Heckler & Koch G36C
A Heckler & Koch G36C is seen in the hands of a private security contractor in the grounds of the American Embassy in Islamabad in "Pilot".
Zastava M70B1
Zastava M70B1s are seen with Pakistani tribesmen near the end of "I'll Never Be Batman". The Zastava is an unlikely choice for Pakistani tribesmen as they are capable for producing their own AK rifles, but the M70B1 is possibly used as a replacement for AK rifles made in the Khyber Pass. Lieutenant Commander Zeke "Z-Pak" Tilson (Pablo Schreiber) and Lieutenant Glenn "Jammer" Taylor (Eric Ladin) take them from the disarmed tribesmen at the start of "Swim, Shmuley, Swim".
Machine Guns
Browning M2HB
A Browning M2HB is seen mounted on several Textron Stingray light tanks and on Humvees in the show's OP. It's seen on a Pakistani APC in "Pilot" after the coup was launched.
DShK
A DShK machine gun is used by a "Taliban" militant when they launch a raid at the Dotari stronghold in the middle of "Sticky Wicket" and on a Pakistani Land Rover near the end of "Just a Little Crazy Talk".
Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-23/30-2
Either a Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-23 or a 30-2 is mounted on a rogue Pakistani Air Force JF-17 fighter in "There Will Be Consequences".
M61 Vulcan
The M61 Vulcan is seen mounted on American military vehicles throughout the season.
PKM
PKMs are seen with "Taliban" militants in the middle of "Sticky Wicket" and with Eritrean guerrilla fighters in "There Will Be Consequences".
Launchers
Carl Gustav M2
A Carl Gustav M2 is seen with a "Taliban" militant in the middle of "Sticky Wicket".
Other
Euromissile HOT
Euromissile HOTs are seen mounted on MBB Bo 105 choppers in the show's OP.
