G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is a 2009 action film based on Hasbro's popular line of action figures and the subsequent comic book and cartoon series. In the film, two US Special Forces soldiers find themselves introduced to a covert military organization codenamed "G.I. JOE", which seeks to recover a cache of warheads containing deadly nanotechnology. The film was directed by Stephen Sommers (The Mummy) and the cast included Channing Tatum, Dennis Quaid, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marlon Wayans, Sienna Miller and Ray Park. A sequel, G.I. Joe: Retaliation is now scheduled for release in March of 2013.

FN FiveseveN pistols are used by Snake Eyes (Ray Park) and Breaker (Saïd Taghmaoui).
Colt Gold Cup National Match
General Hawk (Dennis Quaid) carries a Colt Gold Cup National Match handgun as his main sidearm. He is seen pulling it during the attack of the Joe HQ.
Kimber Warrior
General Hawk (Dennis Quaid) and Duke (Channing Tatum) both are seen with Kimber Warrior pistols.
SIG-Sauer P226 Sport II
A SIG P226 SL Sport II is used by Storm Shadow (Byung-hun Lee) to shoot a scientist at the DeCobray lab and during the car chase scene in Paris.
SIG-Sauer P228
SIG-Sauer P228 handguns are used by French police when they apprehend Ripcord in Paris and by a Secret Service Agent near the end of the film.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP7A1
A Heckler & Koch MP7A1 is used by The Baroness (Sienna Miller) to shoot at Duke (Channing Tatum) and Ripcord (Marlon Wayans) during the action sequence in Paris.
Heckler & Koch MP5A2/A3
Several Heckler & Koch MP5A2s are seen on the rack in the armory. Various MP5 models are also used by the French National Police anti-terrorist unit that arrests the Joes after the chase in Paris.
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
A couple of Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDWs were seen in the hands of French police.
Shotguns
AA-12
The AA-12 was used by Duke (Channing Tatum) during the attack on the G.I. Joe base, the Pit.
Assault Rifles
FN F2000 Tactical
The FN F2000 Tactical is the standard rifle of the G.I Joe unit, and is used at various times by Duke, Ripcord and by the other Joes at the Pit.
Heckler & Koch HK416
The Heckler & Koch HK416 rifle is used by Duke (Channing Tatum), Ripcord (Marlon Wayans) and their unit during the early part of the film, prior to joining the GI Joes.
Heckler & Koch G36C
Another choice of assault rifle for G.I. Joe is the Heckler & Koch G36C. Some of MARS's guards are armed with several during the end of the film. A special forces soldier in the first action sequence is also armed with a G36C. A couple of the French police also carried them as well.
M4A1 Carbine
M4A1 carbines are used by Duke and Ripcord during a flashback sequence. Several soldiers also used the M4A1 during the convoy attack sequence.
M16A2
M16A2 rifles, including one are used by Army soldiers during a flashback sequence in East Africa. Instead of a heat shield, they just removed the lower half of the handguard when attaching the M203.
M1 Garand
M1 Garands are used by the honor guard at Rex's funeral.
Galil ARM
A Galil ARM fitted with accessory rails and C-more sight is used by one of the Special Ops soldiers that engage the M.A.R.S. soldiers during the convoy ambush.
Machine Guns
Browning M2HB
Twin Browning M2HB machine guns are seen being remote-fired from atop of Duke and Ripcord's Rhino during the convoy ambush.
Handheld Dillon Aero M134 Minigun
Heavy Duty (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) main weapon is a handheld GE M134 Minigun. Movie Armorer Steve Karnes built this minigun to similar specifications as the ones used by NEST soldiers in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
General Dynamics GAU-17/A
Several GAU-17/A Miniguns can briefly be seen mounted on Black Hawk helicopters during Duke's flashback
M249 SAW
Heavy Duty uses a M249 SAW with a grenade launcher to destroy the Cobra drilling crafts.
Mk 46 Mod 0 Light Machine Gun
The Mk 46 Mod 0 is seen in the hands of a Special Op soldier that engages the Baroness and her soldiers during the convoy ambush.
Heavy Weapons
AT4
A special forces soldier fires a AT4 at the Neo-Vipers during the convoy attack.
M203 Grenade Launcher
M203s were see attached to Ripcord's M4 and another's M16 during the flashback scene.
Sage Control SL-6 Rotary Launcher
A Sage Control SL-6 Rotary Launcher is seen in the left hand of Heavy Duty when he takes out the Cobra drilling craft.
Other
Mk 2 Hand Grenade
A pair of Mk 2 hand grenades are strapped to both Duke and Ripcord's web gear during the convoy ambush.
Mecar M72 Hand Grenade
A bandolier containing Mecar M72 hand grenades is seen on the floor during the attack on the Joe HQ.
Advanced Weaponry of G.I. Joe
Delta-6 Accelerator Suit
Duke and Ripcord are introduced to the Delta 6 Accelerator Suit, which is armed with triple explosive heat-seeking fire-and-forget rockets and a 10mm caseless Gatling submachine gun capable of firing 50 rounds per second.
