The QBZ-191 is a Chinese assault rifle made by Chongqing Jianshe, a subsidiary of China South Industries Group, to gradually replace the QBZ-95 platform used by the People's Liberation Army. It has a conventional rifle layout (in contrast to the bullpup QBZ-95), and has improved ergonomics and ballistic performance.
