Ultimate Weapons is a documentary TV show on Military Channel. It searches for the ten best weapons in five different categories: Close Quarters Battle, Sniper Rifles, Artillery and Armored Vehicles, Firepower, and Robotic Warriors.

Custom AR-15
A custom AR-15 rifle is seen in one of the episodes. The rifle looks like an early model Colt AR-15A2 Sporter II with the handguard of an M16A1 type handguard. This is not unusual as the Sporter II used a proprietary handguard designed to fit the A1 triangular end cap, meaning that if it became damaged the easiest replacement part would be an A1 handguard.
