The Purge is a 2013 horror/thriller set in a near future United States where the government has granted one 12 hour period during the year where all crimes are legal. Ethan Hawke stars in the film as James Sandin, a security systems salesman whose family is put in danger when their home is threatened by those participating in the Purge. The film would spawn a media franchise which includes 2014's The Purge: Anarchy and 2016's The Purge: Election Year and 2021's The Forever Purge in addition to the 2018 prequel The First Purge and a 2018 television series that premiered on the USA Network.

A Purger is seen with a Diemaco C7 LSW. Another Purger is seen with one in "Behind the Scenes" footage.
IMBEL MD-97 LC
One of the neighbors uses what appears to be an IMBEL MD-97 LC. Purge footage in the intro shows a man firing an assault rifle. While it is barely visible, it is possible that the actor is just re-using the IMBEL MD-97 LC, as it does not match the features of the other rifles seen in the film.
