The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes is a British 1991-1993 TV series, starring Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes and Edward Hardwicke as Dr. Watson. Nine short stories by Arthur Conan Doyle were adapted into the series.
The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes is a third installment in Granada Television TV series, starring Jeremy Brett as Holmes, including also The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1984-1985), The Return of Sherlock Holmes (1986-1988), and The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes (1994) TV series, and two feature-length made for TV movies: The Sign of Four (1987) and The Hound of the Baskervilles (1988).

Several Colt 1851 Navy revolvers are seen in hands of young John Turner (uncredited), his accomplicies and guards of gold-delivering wagon in a flashback scene in "The Boscombe Valley Mystery" (S01E04) that depicts Turner's past as a bushranger in Australia in early 1860s.
