Rush Hour 2 is the 2001 sequel to 1998's Rush Hour and the second installment in the trilogy. In this film, Chief Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) and Detective James Carter (Chris Tucker) travel to Hong Kong and Las Vegas to track down a Triad leader. The film was Jackie Chan's most successful Hollywood live-action film at the box office up until his starring role in the 2010 remake of The Karate Kid. Rush Hour 3, the third installment in the trilogy, was released in 2007.

LAPD Detective James Carter (Chris Tucker) carries a Smith & Wesson 5906 as his sidearm. He draws it when confronting Kenny (Don Cheadle).

Carter keeps his S&W drawed on Kenny (Don Cheadle) "gangster-style", not like a trained detective would in real life, but this seems intentional in that Carter is displaying his 'street cred' by walking and talking like a fellow 'gangsta'. This is the only time in the movie where he draws it, and never fires it.

Walther PPK/S

Triad member Hu Li (Zhang Ziyi) carries a stainless Walther PPK/S as her sidearm. Chief Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) also uses one to intimidate Ricky Tan (John Lone) near the end of the film.

Lee is distracted by Carter and fires the pistol when Ricky Tan grabs at him.

Colt Mustang

Undercover U.S. Secret Service Agent Isabella Molina (Roselyn Sanchez) carries a Colt Mustang when confronting Carter and Lee. Hu Li later uses it to wound Isabella with the last round before it runs out of ammunition. Steven Reign (Alan King) also flashes this pistol in his waistband to intimidate Ricky Tan.
