Smith & Wesson Model 686
Jack Stanfield (Harrison Ford) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 686 with a 2-inch barrel and Pachmayr grips throughout the film. The handgun is initially hidden in Jack's house, but Bill (Paul Bettany) leaves it at the apartment of Jack's friend Harry (Robert Forster) in order to frame Jack.

The Beretta Cougar appears to be the pistol used by Bill (Paul Bettany). This may also be the gun that is carried by his right-hand man Liam (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau).

The men who take Jack's family hostage are armed with Heckler & Koch MP5K submachine guns fitted with scopes and Surefire Universal weaponlights.

Heckler & Koch MP5KN - updated with the Navy Trigger Group - 9x19mm. The Navy trigger group dates to 1985, the MP5K-PDW to 1991. The MP5K is available in the newer MP5KN, MP5KA4, and MP5KA5 configurations, which all have the ambidextrous trigger group. Another 'well used' actual movie blank firing gun.
