Dabney Coleman (1932-2024) holds a snub nose Smith & Wesson Model 66 as Det. Burt Simpson in Short Time (1990).
Dabney Coleman was an American character actor who specialized in playing curmudgeons. He had been working for several years when he achieved stardom playing the sexist boss Franklin Hart Jr in Nine to Five (1980). He worked steadily for many years. In his later years he appeared in the mini-series Boardwalk Empire as Commodore Louis Kaestner as well as many guest appearances in such shows as NCIS, Ray Donovan and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. His final screen appearance was as John Dutton Jr. in Yellowstone, episode: "Sins of the Father" (S2E10). He was 92 at the time of his death.
