Blowing Wild is a 1953 American-Mexican adventure movie directed by Hugo Fregonese and starring Gary Cooper, Barbara Stanwyck and Anthony Quinn.

Jeff Dawson's (Gary Cooper) handgun is a Merwin & Hulbert Army Frontier 3rd Model revolver with pearl grips. Due to a continuity error, it switches to Colt Official Police during the final shootout.

Paco Conway (Anthony Quinn) draws an M1911A1 pistol when Dutch Peterson (Ward Bond) tries to mug him. M1911s are also seen in holsters of local policemen.
Pre-War Colt M1911A1 - Commercial Model known as the "Colt Government Model" - .45 ACP. This has a deep Colt factory blued finish, common for commercial variants before and after the war.
He holds the 1911. The ejection port looks large enough for A1 version.

Browning M1919A2
During the final shootout local policemen use a Browning M1919A2 machine gun. A2 model is identified by the relatively short barrel with slotted shroud.
