They Call Me Jeeg is a 2015 Italian superhero film. The film stars Claudio Santamaria as Enzo Ceccotti, a small-time thief who finds himself with superhuman strength and healing after falling into radioactive waste in the Tiber river. After catching the attention of criminal kingpin Fabio "The Gypsy" Cannizzaro (Luca Marinelli), he decides to abandon his life of crime and use his powers to stop him. The film is a tribute to and is loosely tied to the 1975-1976 anime series Steel Jeeg. The film's title is also a reference to the 1970 spaghetti western fim They Call Me Trinity.
