The Spikes Gang is a 1974 American film directed by Richard Fleischer and starring Lee Marvin as Harry Spikes.

Three young men see a chance to escape their life of misery and mistreatment when they meet a dying bank robber in the middle of nowhere, who will help them become bank robbers like him.

Single Action Army

Harry Spikes (Lee Marvin), Wilson Young (Gary Grimes), Tod Hayhew (Charles Martin Smith), Les Richter (Ron Howard) and other supporting characters carry the Colt Single Action Army during the film. All of the Colt Single Action Army's seen in the film are Uberti replicas.

Harry's Colt Single Action Army changes from the "Artillery" model to the "Cavalry" model in a continuity error.

Wilson aims his Single Action Army at the bank teller (Bert Conway).
Wilson wields his Single Action Army with both hands, demonstrating his limited experience as a bank robber.
Subsequently, Wilson hands his Single Action Army to Tod while he and Les steal the money from the bank safe.
Tod takes aim with the Single Action Army at the Sheriff (Robert Beatty) who has just entered the bank in the middle of a robbery.
Spikes threatens the banke teller of Cattlemen's bank with his Single Action Army.
Tod judges that the bank robbery went terribly wrong because of the noise of the gunfire.
Tod's Single Action Army stand out from the rest by having ivory grips.
After Henry's refusal to stay to help Smith and his gunshot wound, Wilson threatens him with his Colt Single Action Army.
Wilson cocks his Single Action Army and fires.
During the final shootout, Spikes hides a Single Action Army under his pillow and arms himself with it to defend himself against Grimes.
Wilson, on the floor, fires his Single Action Army.

Garate El Tigre

Harry Spikes (Lee Marvin), Wilson Young (Gary Grimes), Tod Hayhew (Charles Martin Smith), Les Richter (Ron Howard) also carry Garate El Tigre rifles during the film.

At the gun shop in Mexico, Spikes buys a Gárate El Tigre and tests his marksmanship.
Spikes pulls the lever and inspects the opening gate of the Gárate El Tigre.
Spikes gives his apprentices a lesson in marksmanship with Gárate El Tigre rifles.
Wilson aims his Gárate El Tigre at one of the bottles placed as a target.
Tod tries to improve his aim with the Gárate El Tigre, but his nearsightedness prevents him from doing so, so Spikes and his friends take him to buy new glasses.
During the escape of the Spikes gang, Wilson arms himself with a Gárate El Tigre...
...and he shoots at the lawmens.
A Gárate El Tigre is seen behind Richter's back, who is reading the letter that Wilson wants to deliver to Tod's family.

12 Gauge Double-Barreled Shotgun

The pawnbroker (Adolfo Thous) and Morton (Allen Russell) are the only characters in the film to carry a 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun.
