The Shield - Season 5
The following weapons were used in Season 5 of the television series The Shield:
Pistols
Smith & Wesson 4506-1
Detective Vic Mackey (Michael Chiklis) carries a Smith & Wesson 4506-1 .45ACP pistol as his sidearm throughout the series. The 4506 pistol had previously been used in the film Training Day (2001) by Denzel Washington.
Beretta 8000 Cougar F
The Beretta 8045 Cougar F pistol is the main service pistol carried by Detective Ronnie Gardocki (David Rees Snell) and Detective Shane Vendrell (Walton Goggins) as well as Captain David Aceveda (Benito Martinez).
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is the main service pistol for many police officers in the show, including Detective Curtis Lemansky (Kenneth Johnson), Sgt. Danni Sofer (Catherine Dent), and Officer Julien Lowe (Michael Jace).
Glock 19
The Glock 19 is carried by several detectives, including Det. Wyms (CCH Pounder).
Shotguns
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
The Mossberg 500 Cruiser is used throughout the series, usually by Det. Curtis "Lemonhead" Lemansky (Kenneth Johnson). The shotgun carried by Curtis is fitted with a saddle shell holder and field barrel. The shotgun is also used by Vic in Season 5's finale "Post Partum" (S5E11).
Mossberg 500
Uniformed officers are seen armed with the Mossberg 500 throughout the series.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Members of the Strike team use the Heckler & Koch MP5A3 fitted with Surefire dedicated forend weaponlights throughout Season 5.
