The R Document (Dokument R; Russian: Документ Р) is a 1985 Soviet feature film, loosely based on the eponymous novel by Irving Wallace. The film is set at the start of the 21st century, when politicians and the elite of the United States, headed by the director of the FBI, prepares to assassinate the US president to introduce a state of emergency and seize power by establishing a dictatorship.

An unknown revolver is seen in the holster of one of the guards at the entrance of the Argo City. Based on the shape of the grips with the lanyard ring, it is likely a military Colt or S&W revolver, such as the M1917, but this weapon is not clearly seen for more detailed info.

Several guards at the entrance to Argo City carries StG-44 rifles, modified with new foregrips and new sights to resemble the FN FAL variant. These are the same rifles that were used in Black Sun (Chyornoye solntse), only now with short magazines (giving them much more similarity).
