The following weapons were used in the film The Hunting Party:
Revolvers
Single Action Army
Frank Calder (Oliver Reed), Melissa Ruger (Candice Bergen), Brandt Ruger (Gene Hackman), Jim Loring (William Watson) and several characters carry Single Action Army revolvers throughout the film. Frank Calder also carries what appears to be a double-action replica of the Single Action Army.
All Single Action Armys are modern replicas with brass trigger guards.
For comparison: Colt Peacemaker .22 w/ 6" barrel - .22LR/.22 Magnum
Frank fires his Single Action Armys at Brandt and his men. Note the size of the cylinder and barrel, indicating that this is a .22 LR replica.

Colt Single Action Army w/ 5.5" barrel - .45 Long Colt
Melissa arms herself with Frank's Single Action Army while he is asleep (or pretends to be). Note the brass trigger guard and backstrap.
Frank's men draw their Single Action Armys after Melissa's shot.

Brandt holds a Single Action Army for the only time in the film.
In a continuity error, Frank is holding his normal Single Action Army instead of the .22 replica he fired in the previous shot.
