According to the first game's guide book, The House of the Dead Official Guide, it is a heavily modified fictional handgun converted from 9x19mm to .50 AE. It is also equipped with an enlarged ambidextrous safety lever, magazine release, and single-column 6 rounds magazine. The render's official artwork resembles a custom M1911, similar to a Colt Mk IV Series 80 Combat Elite.
