Michonne Sniper Rifle

Michonne (Danai Gurira) takes a sniper rifle from a US Army soldier walker and shoots bottles at the carnival from a school rooftop in "Say Yes" (S7E12), which is somewhat strange, as the US Army does not use the M40A3. Tara Chambler (Alanna Masterson) carries a similar rifle while heading to Oceanside in "Something They Need" (S7E15).

In Season 7's finale "The First Day of the Rest of Your Lives" (S7E16), one of the Saviors fires this rifle.

My guess is that the AR is a custom build. Parts that I can identify are the handguard which is a rifle length Daniel Defence one (the old model that has the three bolts on each side) and the stock is a Magpul ACS-L. On the topic of the LM308MWS that this was previously listed as, I think that the other two pictures in that section are wrong aswell. Firstly, I think that the one in the bin is the same as this one as it has a DD handguard with the same pattern of rail covers at the front. Secondly, the one carried by the saviour also appears to have a 5.56 mag. I'm not 100& sure about this as the angle isn;t great, but it appears to be curved and if you compare the depth of the magazine to the G3's behind it this one definitely appears narrower despite the fact that it is closer to the camera. Due to the number that appear, I'm started to wonder if we should just have a section for "Custom AR-15s" and put them all in there, as from looking through the page I think that there at least 6 different custom ARs which are not identifiable as a specific OTS model. --commando552 (talk) 06:25, 7 April 2017 (EDT)

Could rifle ont he background be a G3A3?

Please help to id the rifle on the right.

There is a full shot of the rifle when Simon is hitching up his trousers just after this shot, and in that it appears to be the same rifle that Glenn used last season as it lacks a rear sight and has a receiver rail. The AR on the right of that picture looks like just a standard M4 fitted with a Surefire M500AB weapon light and a night sight. As for the one on the left, I believe that it might be a YHM Desert Enforcer:

AR sniper

I can't really tell from that screencap, but to me the AR carried by Alvaro looks like a 308. My guess would be a DPMS Recon:

Still no Body armor

Still kinda boggies my mind that this far into the show and no body wears body armor against asshole survivors or carry rigs to hold mags or anything resembling tactical gear. You would think there would be enough dead cops and soldiers for survivors to get smart about that. I'm with you, bothered me for a while, also why hasn't, at least someone, made metal wrist guards so they can easily defend against zombie bites, a lightweight thin metal would protect them without weighing them down too much, no need to whip out a weapon real quick, just throw your arm in the way, boom, zombies biting metal, gives you time to pull out your knife and stab that piece of rotting filth. --RedRobinAlpha (talk) 17:22, 2 November 2016 (EDT)

In a deleted scene, Benjamin (Logan Miller) draws a Beretta 92FS on Saviors in "The Well" (S7E02). Note this particular shot is reversed.

In a deleted scene, Dwight fires his M&P at an Rogue Savior on a highway in "The Cell" (S7E03).

As Dwight looks up to see walkers falling down from the highway, his Smith & Wesson M&P is seen holstered in "The Cell" (S7E03).

Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) fires a M4A1 at walkers in Season 7's premiere "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be" (S7E01). Note that this scene is from the promo and the actual scene is different in the episode.

SIG P226 Combat

It's not a Combat, it's just a regular P226 with a threaded barrel. First, because the Combat models are only produced with FDE frames (the example pic is a MK25, not a Combat). Assuming that we are talking about the same rifle, that isn't a Blaser. It is something in a Choate Super Sniper Stock, like this Rem 700:

That's a rifle in a Choate Super Sniper Stock, not a Blaser. If you look at the front you can see that the barrel comes out of the stock as opposed to on the Blaser where the barrel free floats above it. Also, there are no vents on the front of a Blaser stock, and on this rifle you can see where it steps in behind the "wedge" part at the front onto a textured panel. Without seeing to back of the gun it impossible to see what action is inside, I would guess it is a Remington as this seems to be the most common rifle that appears with this stock in media. --commando552 (talk) 13:17, 15 November 2016 (EST)

Benelli M3s

Is it just me, or do the Benelli M3s look more like M1s? In the cap of it being held by the Oceonside woman it looks like the handguard goes all the way to the receiver like on the M1, whereas on the M3 it stops short due to it being a pump. Poor weapon handling

Carl's M16

Arat's Shotgun

I do not think Arat's shotgun is a cut down Remington 870, I found a production still that gives the best view of her shotgun and the ejection port doesn't match. Other than that, I don't know what it is myself:

Nope, looks to be a much more vintage Sears & Roebuck JC Higgens shotgun, cut down and fitted with a Cutts shotgun choke probably to reduce spread. Although given the videos I've been seeing of this show as of recently, their knowledge of guns is pretty slim. --PaperCake 22:27, 4 April 2017 (EST)

Mistaken Identification

I've noticed two weapons that were misidentified This one is IDed as a .308 rifle despite clearly having a 5.56 magazine

In Season 7's finale "The First Day of the Rest of Your Lives" (S7E16), one of the Saviors fires a LMT LM308MWS Sharpshooter.

Second, this supposed M40A3 has a short, fluted barrel with a muzzle break. Pretty sure the real M40A3 has none of those features.

In all fairness, the front sight is a lot less obvious than the AIM handguard when watching the episode. If you see a gun that you know has been mis-ID'd, change it. Just make sure to add a clear description for the edit and give a proper description for the gun on the page so people understand what you are doing otherwise they are more likely to change it back. Also, just FYI as I have no idea what your native language is, the way you wrote your original question makes it sound like you thought this rifle was an AIM because it has a hooded front sight, which just makes things more confusing. --commando552 (talk) 19:45, 8 April 2017 (EDT)

I'd agree with that. Specifically, I would say that it is an MVP LR (based on the shape of the stock) chambered in 7.62x51mm (based on the design of the mag). Someone listed that a Savior is holding a Norinco MAK-90 in "First Day of the Rest of Your Life" but there's not a picture of the character holding it.

Can someone post the picture?
