THIS MOVIE IS NOT SET FOR RELEASE UNTIL JAN 11, 2011 and not on VOD until FEB 4th 2011. Where are these Screencaps coming from?!?!?!? MoviePropMaster2008 19:39, 3 January 2011 (UTC)

Maybe some stores are releasing it early? I saw some stores do that already. User:SeanWolf
No, IMFDB rules state that the North America release date is the official release date. No Screencaps will be allowed prior to that date. Doesn't matter if it was released overseas. We cannot police or authenticate that and there are TONS of bootleggers overseas. This page can easily be restored (by me since I backed up the entire pages contents and wiki codes) after Jan 11th, 2011. MoviePropMaster2008 20:14, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
Ah, ok. User:SeanWolf
Alright, sorry. Didn't even know it hadn't being released in the US. It has in Aus. Crackshot. I'll back the page up.
Well i havent seen this movie so im wondering if its any good? [[User:SeanWolf]
Just don't expect Jaws, a master of film making or a solid human drama and you won't de disappointed. It's pretty much naked chicks meet vicious Piranhas and die in horrific ways. Crackshot
  • Wow! I can't believe an American movie came to Australia before it hit the US! It's truly a larf a second classic; it's a shame Mel Gibson didn't do a cameo as the 'Get out of the F****n' way' character in the film.Foofbun 08:27, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Haha! Australia prevails again! --Jackbel 08:43, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Hope you're not underwater and using spear guns on the range...Foofbun 20:19, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Not cool dude. Not cool --Jackbel 23:39, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

No offence meant, I just hoped you were all right.Foofbun 07:32, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

Doesn't sound like it, sounds a lot like your joking around about the 14 people dead and 50 missing.--Jackbel 09:11, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

A thousand pardons, had no intention of that. Just hope you're OK.Foofbun 21:18, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

JACKBEL. You need to take a chill pill now. No one was making fun of the tragedy in Australia. I know during times like this, emotions are raw. Everyone I know is shocked and saddened by the flooding in Australia, but Foofbun's comment was not meant to denigrate in anyway the real life victims of this terrible weather. No need to make something out of nothing. America's thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the Australian floods. MoviePropMaster2008 20:06, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

S&W 65?

As I remember the scene, when Ving Rhames shoots his revolver into the air, it is a S&W 686. I'm not totally sure, though. I'll try to see the scene again.

Really? I never actually saw him firing the gun.
It's probably one of those super AUSTRALIAN versions of the film! LOL!!!!!!MoviePropMaster2008 22:45, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
That's not a knoif revolver, THAT's a knoif revolver.--PistolJunkie 23:45, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
  • You never know; when a film premiere's outside the US they may do a lot of cutting before they decide on a version for American release.Foofbun 21:20, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
  • I've seen the scene where Ving Rhames draws and shoots his revolver, but all I can say is that it has adjustable sights. I haven't been able to obtain a vidcap where the revolver is seen clearly

Not the first time Australia got a movie first

Here's one for you. Superman II premired in Australia in 1980. It wasn't released in the states until the summer of 1981. I don't know why. It was also an American movie and a far bigger one than Piranha 3D.--Jcordell 23:14, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
