Unidentified pistol

In the opening scene a kidnapper is armed with an unknown pistol.

A kidnapper at the right holds a pistol. Note the difference of the shape with Model 70.

Rather than the Beretta Model 70, my guess would be it's a Benelli B76 Sport. The extended barrel is still not explained, but at least the frame and the trigger guard are a much better match. Also, the Benelli B76 was introduced in the late 1970's so this might have been a promotional product placement in this 1978 movie. - PeeWee055 (talk) 03:48, 26 May 2015 (EDT)

Another view of this pistol. It seems to me that Benelli is also a wrong guess. I guess it to be some small caliber target pistol but all search in books and web was for nothing. Greg-Z (talk) 14:44, 26 May 2015 (EDT)
