Billy's Automatics

In many scenes, Billy's derringers because small automatic pistols. They appear to be covered with a shroud to disguise them. Maybe an FN Model 1905, but it's not very clear. Any ideas?

FN's are a good guess, but it's possible that these are mockup replicas. --Ben41 (talk)

I think there are real guns in shells, the bottom cap actually shows that one is locked empty. Besides, I presume these were switched in to allow multiple rounds to be fired rather than just two. If they weren't using a firing gun, why bother? --Funkychinaman (talk) 19:55, 10 February 2013 (EST)

In this shot, the one in Billy's right hand is locked open.

Billy's revolver

In one scene, Billy fires a revolver. I don't recognize it.

I could be wrong, but it looks a little like a LeMat Revolver, albeit with a shorter barrel.--TravisTee (talk) 20:32, 7 February 2015 (EST)

Discussion

Billy's Derringers

The OP IDed Billy's derringers as Remington 1866 derringers. The problem is, the ejectors appear to be on both sides of the barrel, whereas with the Remington (and most derringers,) the ejector is only on the left. --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:28, 10 February 2013 (EST)

Source Material

Being an American, I'm not very familiar with the source material, so I'd appreciate it if someone who was went through the page and possibly add some context. --Funkychinaman (talk) 18:08, 10 February 2013 (EST)

Calamity Jane's Lever Shotgun

I think it looks like this:

The one in the movie also has a smaller barrel
