As far as I know the Czech language, it's a literal translation (or maybe "The Last Goes to Hell" is a slight better version). IMDb page doesn't contain an English version of the title but there is a German one: "Der Letzte fährt zur Hölle", that means the same. Greg-Z (talk) 00:59, 11 January 2014 (EST)

It how writes Greg. In Czech original it can be a noun, but and also adverb. The literal wording. "A last" is that anyone, who in final story go in Hell, not any one particular "the last". Anyone, one who not left Satan's amulet, fall into Hell. --Pandolfini (talk) 01:46, 11 January 2014 (EST)

Having lived in Germany myself, I can confirm that the only possible correct translation of the German "Der Letzte fährt zur Hölle" is "The Last One Goes to Hell". Thanks for the input to set things right, but I am afraid to say that he above proposed German title "Zuletzt geht in die Hölle" is not grammatically correct. It means something like "Finally Goes to Hell" (?). I still say we stick with "The Last One Goes to Hell". It may not be a perfect translation of the Czech title, but at least it has some legitimacy (being a translation of the official German edition) and finally it is correct English, PeeWee055 (talk) 11:50, 12 January 2014 (EST)

I've read the synopsis of the film (thanks to my travel to Praga last year, I learned to speak Czech a little). The story tells about a magic elixir that gives a magic power to everyone who drinks a drop of it. But then its owner must sell the elixir for half the price to someone else. The one who will drink the last drop will go to hell. So "The Last One Goes to Hell" seems to be a correct version of the title. Greg-Z (talk) 12:41, 12 January 2014 (EST)
