New Images

Just saw a few new character posters online. They depict the major chracters of 'The Resistance' and they seem to be armed with some variant of the Heckler & Koch G36. Pretty sure it's the G36KV --Charon68 (talk) 15:47, 28 August 2014 (EDT)

No, they are G36Cs. It is easiest to tell in the Natalie Dormer one, where you can see that there are only two vent holes in the handguard. Also, I think the bottom guy has a holstered Vektor but the guy in the middle has a different pistol, however I can't positively ID from just that shot. --commando552 (talk) 21:14, 28 August 2014 (EDT)

I've seen the movie in the cinema, and think I saw the rescue team wielding indeed G36's, but at least one of them seemed to have a grenade launcher attached to his rifle. I might be wrong, because I had a little time to see it, but the grenade launcher looked like a Colt M203, instead of an AG36. I'm curious to know if that is correct. Now that you've reminded me, yes they were M203s. Also, there was a pretty clear shot of one of their holstered pistols at one point in that scene, though I couldn't ID it at the time. Alex T Snow (talk) 22:05, 21 December 2014 (EST)

District Eight guns

I saw a twin machine gun mount during the air raid, looked like MG34/42. It's seen as Katnis and Gale are going up the stairs of a building, just before she shoots down a hovercraft. You see the gun, it get strafed, Katnis ducks, and you see the gun again for a second. Can anyone confirm what the gun was? Also, total long shot, but could you identify any other rebel weapons in the scene?
