Candidate for Deletion

And why is this a candidate for deletion, exactly? --Kloga (talk) 10:34, 14 July 2016 (EDT)

Because if you can't finish a page in six, now seven, years, maybe it wasn't mean to be. Quality, not quantity, remember? --Funkychinaman (talk) 10:47, 14 July 2016 (EDT)
Seems finished to me and even needing a little bit of a clean-up. --Kloga (talk) 10:50, 14 July 2016 (EDT)
It's missing caps for two of the weapons. If it was finished, we wouldn't be having this discussion. --Funkychinaman (talk) 11:28, 14 July 2016 (EDT)
Really? Two whole weapons are uncapped and you're going to delete a whole page full of screens and comments? Have you even looked at some of the other pages on IMFDB?Temp89 (talk)
It'd just be moved to the discussion page. And if you think there are more half-assed pages, you're welcome to nominate a few for deletion. You're also welcome to finish this page. --Funkychinaman (talk) 15:13, 14 July 2016 (EDT)
I can only assume this is some turf war between moderators or something because that's the only reasonable explanation I can find to condemn the page.Temp89 (talk)
Or you can see the reasonable explanation I wrote earlier today. I tagged this page for deletion last October, and no one has stepped up. How long does it take to finish a page? --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:06, 14 July 2016 (EDT)
I'd have to agree that deleting it for "lack of effort" when it's mostly done seems like a bit of an overreaction, but if the work that's been put in so far will be moved to the discussion page rather than outright deleted then I say we might as well just go for it now. The missing screencaps are from the original Wii version, so the page is only going to be finished once someone with the capability to screencap Wii games steps up. I'd do it myself, but A) don't have a capture card, B) even if I did have one I can't find my Wii, C) can't find my copy of the game either (or for that matter any console games I owned before I moved a few years back), and D) screencapping from Youtube videos or whatever like I did for Perfect Dark Zero is too unreliable because there's no easy-to-find footage of either of the uncapped weapons being used/bought/upgraded/whatever, not to mention the obvious quality issues because of Youtube compression being rude. Best I can figure is maybe separate the original version and the Extended Cut/Typing of the Dead, since the latter did get finished, but I don't recall any precedent for HD rereleases/remakes getting separate articles. I took the fact that it was console-only into account. We have an unofficial category full of pages like this. No one is saying it can't be worked on, but after this long, it's clear no one is in any hurry to finish it. --Funkychinaman (talk) 17:12, 15 July 2016 (EDT)
Just got the game today so I'm going to try to get the rest of the screenshots.--SeanWolf (talk) 23:56, 23 June 2017 (EDT)
