- Take a look at the page now and see how I put your images on the page. Also before uploading, change your file names into something easier to work with. The Gun IS an M1911A1 notice the frame cutouts behind the trigger. The trigger could very well be aftermarket

Astra Terminator or Taurus?
The gun pictured seems to have fixed sights, while the Terminator was only produced with adjustable sights. It looks more like a Taurus (model 431, probably)
KP89 or KP90?
I think that whoever said a KP90 is used in the Pilot episode, while a KP89 is used in the second episode, is mistaken. Why would the armorer bring two different but (almost) visually identical guns in different calibers to the set? It would make a lot more sense (given economics) that only one Ruger pistol was brought to the set and used by both James Russo and Gonzalo Menendez in the first two episodes. And I'm guessing it's probably a KP89 since we all know that 9mm pistols are the norm in Hollywood. -MT2008 19:43, 23 March 2011 (CDT)
- It was me. To me that bore looked like a .45, especially when comparing it to the Ruger used in the second episode. I didn't think about what's the most convenient thing for the armorer. I mean look at the bores, there's a difference. And aren't pilots shot before you shoot the remaining season? I mean don't you market it to studios, and when somebody gives you the funds you get to it. Maybe then the crew, and even the armorer(?) might have changed. --Warejaws 05:45, 24 March 2011 (CDT)
- You do raise a good point: The Pilot episode is always shot before the rest of the first season, and sometimes the crew (and even members of the cast) can change in the interim period before the show is greenlit for a full season. That being said, regarding the pistol specifically, I really don't think that looks like a .45 ACP bore. Unless we have good visual evidence to be sure this Ruger is a KP90 (i.e. the magazine is ejected and we see it's single-stack), odds are that it's a a KP89. And whenever we're in doubt, we always assume a pistol is a 9mm (as opposed to a larger caliber variant) because that's what is most common in prop houses' armories. -MT2008 09:52, 24 March 2011 (CDT)

In having a flat top M4 section and a regular M4 section? They are the same guns
