During production of the movie filmed in the Philippines, A Philippine Air Force helicopter that was hired by the Cannon Film Group, crashed into Manila Bay with four Filipino troops killed alongside five other people wounded. Coincidentally, this accident occurred the same day the "Twilight Zone Tragedy" verdict was handed down in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Story continuity error makes Braddock look bad

In MIA 2, Braddock is taunted by his captor that his wife is getting remarried, but he doesn't let it get to him and simply wishes her well. Then in this film, we find out Braddock has a son with a Vietnamese woman. Ergo, Braddock was cheating on his wife in-country. Shame on him. Spartan198 (talk) 06:56, 9 May 2021 (EDT)
