Revenge of the Musketeers is a 1994 French swashbuckler film directed by Bertrand Tavernier who co-wrote the screenplay with Jean Cosmos and Michel Léviant and is loosely based on the two novels Les Trois Mousquetaires and its sequel Vingt Ans après by Alexandre Dumas. After the murder of the superior of her convent, Eloise, the daughter of the famous musketeer D'Artagnan, travels to Paris to ask her father for help in the fight against the Duke of Grassac.
