The Pianist is a 2002 World War II biographical drama directed by Roman Polanski and starring Adrien Brody as Wladyslaw Szpilman, a pianist who witnesses the German occupation of Poland. The film was adapted from Szpliman's autobiographical novel of the same name and would go on to be nominated for seven Academy Awards, receiving two for Best Director and Best Actor.

Walther P38s are smuggled into the Warsaw Ghetto and later used by resistance fighters.
The Tokarev TT-33 can be seen in a holster of Polish police officers, but they never pull it out.
The Walther PP is seen in a holster of Captain Wilm Hosenfeld (Thomas Kretschmann).
The MP40 is used by German soldiers.
The Steyr-Solothurn S1-100 is used by German soldiers.
Sten Mk II
The Sten Mk II is used by resistance fighters.
Some of the Polish soldiers are armed with PPSh-41 submachine guns.
Most of the German soldiers use Karabiner 98k rifles.
Mosin Nagant M38 Carbine
A few the of Polish soldiers are seen carrying Mosin Nagant M38 Carbines, notably, the one that confronts Wladyslaw Szpilman (Adrien Brody) after confusing him as a German soldier.
An MG34 can be seen being lugged on the shoulders of German soldiers marching into Warsaw.
The Degtyaryov DP-28 is used by resistance fighters.
Model 24 Stielhandgranate
Several Model 24 Stielhandgranates can be seen in the resistance weapons cache. Wehrmacht soldiers also throw these grenades at resistance fighters.
Model 39 Eihandgranate
Several Model 39 Eihandgranates can be seen in the resistance weapons cache.
F-1 Hand Grenade
What appears to be an F-1 hand grenade is used by a Polish soldier confronting Wladyslaw Szpilman (Adrien Brody).
7.5 cm le.IG 18
The 7.5 cm le.IG 18 infantry support gun is used by German soldiers to punch a hole through the Ghetto wall and get to the resistance fighters.
The Panzerfaust is used by resistance fighters.
The PIAT is used by resistance fighters.
The Flammenwerfer 41 is used by German soldiers to clear out resistance fighters in the buildings around the military hospital.
