The Hills Run Red (Italian title: Un fiume di dollari) is a 1967 Italian-Spanish western film directed by Carlo Lizzani. Starring Thomas Hunter, Henry Silva and Nicoletta Machiavelli.
The following weapons were used in the film The Hills Run Red:
Revolvers
Single Action Army
Various characters are armed with SAA "Artillery" model revolvers.
Colt Single Action Army w/ 5.5" barrel known as the "Artillery" model. The most common of the SAA revolvers as it is just the right length. - .45 Long Colt
One of Mendez's killers holds an Artillery model SAA while searching for Jim Houston

Hattie Gardner (
Gianna Serra) pulls an SAA. This could more likely be a mocked-up Colt New Service due to it's size.
Rifles
Winchester Model 1894
Some characters are seen with Winchester Model 1894 rifles.
Winchester 1894 - .30-30.
One of Mendez's men disembark's his horse with the rifle in hand.
Note the loading gate is much closer to the handguard; this is an indication that the Model 1894 seen on screen is a replica, probably Spanish considering the film was filmed in that country.
Marlin Model 1895
In a continuity error, Jim Houstons (Thomas Hunter) and Col. Winny Getz's (Dan Duryea) Winchester Model 1894s are swapped with Marlin Model 1895 carbines.
Marlin Model 1895 - .45-70

Marlin Model 1895 carbines. Note the side ejection port and lever hinge on Jim's rifle is more akin to a Marlin lever action rifle than a Winchester '94
Remington 1863 Zouave
In Milton's house hung on the wall a Remington 1863 Zouave percussion rifle.
