The French Conspiracy (original French title: L'Attentat - English: The Assassination) is a 1972 French-Italian-West German political thriller film directed by Yves Boisset. Starring Jean-Louis Trintignant, Gian Maria Volonté, Michel Piccoli, and Roy Scheider.
