For All Mankind is an American science fiction alternative history drama series streaming on Apple TV+. The series begins during the Cold War in an alternate 1969, where the Soviet Union, not the United States, successfully lands the first man on the Moon. With public outrage mounting and morale at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration at an all time low, the scientists, engineers, astronauts, and administrators at NASA must evaluate new strategies and technologies as a new chapter in the Space Race begins. The series, which was co-created by Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica), premiered on Apple TV+ on November 1st, 2019, and Season 2 premiered on February 19, 2021. Season 3 premiered June 10, 2022, with Season 4 premiering on the service on November 10, 2023.
NOTE: Season 1 of this series contains no appreciable depictions of firearms of any kind, while later seasons have firearms playing a more prominent role.
