First Meeting, Last Meeting (original title Pervaya vstrecha, poslednyaya vstrecha) is a Soviet 1987 detective movie directed by Vitali Melnikov (The Chief of Chukotka). The story takes place in December 1913 in Saint Petersburg. A private investigator Pyotr Chukhontsev (Mikhail Morozov) is asked for help by an inventor Kuklin who is afraid for the safety of his work, a new explosive. Chukhontsev thinks Kuklin to be a madman rather than a real inventor but soon Kuklin is found dead, and Chukhontsev starts his own investigation that leads his to a German diplomat Siegfried Gei (Yuri Bogatyryov) who appears to be a head of a spy ring.

Tokarev TT-33

A Tokarev TT-33, standing for a similar looking FN Model 1903, is used by Chukhontsev (Mikhail Morozov) during the night shootout with the Chinese hitman (Vladimir Pak). While the pistol is poorly seen in the movie itself, it is perfectly seen on a production still.
