Fauda (Hebrew: פאודה, from Arabic: فوضى, "chaos") is an Israeli action-thriller drama series created by Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff, based on their experiences in the Israeli Defense Forces.
The series stars Raz as Doron Kavillio, a member of an elite Mista'arvim counter-terrorist unit trained to blend in with Israel's Arab population and perform intelligence gathering and counter-terrorism activities. Formerly retired, Doron is convinced to return to service and join his team as they attempt to foil terrorist plots and navigate the complex political relationship between Israel and Palestine.
