The pm wz. 39 Mors (pistolet maszynowy wzór 39 Mors, with Mors being either Polish for "Walrus" or Latin for "Death") was developed by Poland between 1936 and 1939. It was to become the standard submachine gun for the Polish Army in the 1940s, but only 39 were manufactured before the outbreak of hostilities. These were used during the defense of Poland. Only 3 weapons survived.
